The Doc's Big Decision

Dr. Conrad Murray has one final chance to defend himself ... and today, he will have to tell the court once and for all if he's ready and willing to take the stand.

Murray's answer could have a HUGE impact on the trial ... especially because the jury has only heard the Doc speak when prosecutors played a recording of the interview he gave to police days after Michael Jackson died.

But first, prosecutors will continue their cross examination of Propofol expert Dr. Paul White (click here for blow-by-blow testimony). The defense may also call a scientist to the stand to testify about MJ's urine test results at the time of his death.
* Walgren asked White if he thought Jackson intended to kill himself. White answered, "I don't think he realized the potential danger."
* After the defense rested its case, prosecutors recalled Propofol expert, Dr. Steven Shafer, to address a few points raised by Dr. White. White argued that high amounts of unchanged Propofol found in MJ's autopsy urine suggest the singer most likely died from a quick injection rather than a slow drip. But Shafer introduced a 2002 study that showed patients who received Propopfol through a drip in the OR had nearly the same levels.
