Several key witnesses are set to take the stand today in the Dr. Conrad Murray manslaughter trial -- including the paramedics who first arrived to the scene and believe MJ was already dead when they got there.

The medics also believe Dr. Murray withheld vital information during the rush to save MJ's life.

The trial resumes at 8:30 AM -- stay tuned.

Paul Gongaware is back on the stand -- continuing his testimony on day 2 of Conrad Murray's Manslaughter trial
He told Dr. Murray's defense attorney he was on the lookout for any drug use by MJ saying he noticed a "slight slur" in Michael's speech.
* Gongaware said it was Michael who asked him to hire Dr. Murray... but Murray was asking for $5 million which was way too high.
* But Michael insisted he wanted Murray so he called him again and this time offered him $100 thousand a month -- per MJ's instructions.
Paul also told Dr. Murray's defense attorney he was on the lookout for any drug use by MJ, saying he noticed a "slight slur" in Michael's speech during their interactions.

* She said Dr. Murray had issues with part a contract, saying he wanted to get paid his monthly $150,000 fee even while "This Is It" was on break.
* She said Murray also wanted to make sure he didn't have to return any money paid if he was let go in the middle of the month.
* Dr. Murray also requested a CPR machine in the contract. When she asked him why would he need a CPR machine, Murray told her given his age and the strenuous nature of the show he didn't want to take any chances.
* Jorrie says she spoke to Murry on June 24th. Murray told her he had seen Michael perform and that he was in perfect health. This was a day before died.
* She said the contract was NOT signed by all parties, and no payment was made to Murray by AEG.

* He had a message from Murray at 12:15 pm the following day saying "call me back right away." When he called back, Murray told him MJ had a "bad reaction" ... saying "get somebody here immediately."
* Murray's message was played for the jury.

He said on his way to the house, he called MJ's bodyguard Alberto Alvarez. He said while he was talking to Alvarez he could hear Murray voice and then Alvarez all of a sudden hung up on him.
* When he got there, the firs thing he could see MJ being brought out in a gurney.
* Dr. Murray seemed "frantic."
* Williams said after he learned of Michael's death, Murray came up to him and said there was "some cream Michael wouldn't want the world to know about." Murray asked him to drive him to the home so he could retrieve the "cream."
* After checking with MJ's head of security, Faheem Muhammad, the two decided not to let Murray back into the house... telling Murray the police had the keys to the house.
* That's when Murray said he was hungry and asked Williams to give him a ride to get some food. Williams shrugged him off.
* Williams told Chernoff it was "normal" to have oxygen tanks in the house.
* Williams told Ed Chernoff he never told police about Murray's odd request until two months after Michael's death.
* Williams told Chernoff Murray never asked him to call 9-1-1.
* Williams testified that he had seen Michael speak "slower" after coming out of Dr. Arnold Klein's office -- where the defense says Michael got hooked on Demerol.

* Once Muhammad walked around the bed he could see MJ who appeared to be dead.
* He then noticed Paris and Prince at the doorway. Paris was balled up crying and Prince seemed to be in tears as well.
* That's when he moved Paris and Prince away from the room.
Murray says that's when he heard Murray asking if anyone knew CPR. Alvarez came to his aid.
* Once they arrived at the hospital, Prince, Paris and Blanket were put into a room.
* Once MJ was pronounced dead, MJ's assistant relayed Murray's request to go back and retrieve the "cream."

* Chernoff asked Muhammad how he found out in 2008 that Michael had trouble sleeping. Muhammad said, "there were rumors."
* Muhammad said he didn't recall seeing any needles, IV stand or vials, in MJ's room on the day he died.

Prosecutors just introduced some fascinating evidence in Dr. Conrad Murray's manslaughter trial -- a surveillance tape showing Murray pacing in the waiting room at UCLA Medical Center, while doctors tried desperately to revive MJ.

Prosecutors claim the tape shows Murray leaving the hospital around 4:36PM on June 25th, 2009 -- two hours after MJ was pronounced dead.

The defense responded with additional footage -- allegedly disproving that fact -- which appeared to show Murray in the hospital around 5PM.
