Conrad Murray's defense team is calling the witnesses that could save his ass ... two experts who are expected to testify that Michael Jackson most likely self-administered the Propofol that killed him.

After the two experts .... who will likely testify for a couple of days ... closing arguments will begin.

It's down to the wire.

Addiction Expert -- Dr. Robert Waldman Testifies



The defense is trying to show Michael Jackson had such a debilitating drug addiction ... he couldn't help but self-administer a fatal dose of Propofol the day he died.

Addiction expert Dr. Robert Waldman -- the defense's penultimate witness -- said he treated many celebrities with prescription drug addictions ... and one symptom of withdrawal is insomnia, a condition MJ notoriously suffered from.

Defense attorney Ed Cherfnoff went over MJ's medical record from his dermatologist, Dr. Arnold Klein, showing Jackson received "unusually large" amounts of the highly addictive pain killer Demerol between March and June of 2009.

According to Klein's records, MJ got up to 300 mg. of of the drug -- 6 times the recommended limit -- every few days. The doc notes also showed the drug amounts increased as time went by ... suggesting MJ was building up a tolerance.

Walden said MJ had become "dependent" on Demerol ... but stopped short of calling it an addiction.

L'esperto di dipendenze il Dr. Robert Waldman - testimone penultimo della difesa - ha detto di aver trattato molte celebrità tossicodipendenti... e un sintomo di recesso è l'insonnia, una condizione di cui MJ notoriamente soffriva.

L'avvocato difensore Ed Cherfnoff andò nella cartella clinica di MJ dal suo dermatologo, il dottor Arnold Klein, che mostra che Jackson ha ricevuto "insolitamente grandi" importi dei Demerol tra marzo e giugno del 2009.

Secondo i dati di Klein, MJ prendeva fino a 300 mg. di farmaco - 6 volte il limite raccomandato - ogni pochi giorni. Le note del doc ha anche mostrato che le quantità di droghe sono aumentato col passare del tempo ... suggerendo che MJ stava costruendo una tolleranza.

Walden ha detto che MJ era diventato "dipendente" dal Demerol ... ma si rifiutò di chiamarla dipendenza.

Propofol Expert -- Dr. Paul White Testifies

Anesthesiologist and Propofol expert Dr. Paul White -- the defense team's final witness -- just told the jury he never concluded MJ died from drinking Propofol ... claiming it was nearly a suggestion.

During opening statements, the defense argued the The King of Pop may have killed himself by swallowing Propofol ... but has since dropped the claim after a study revealed ingesting the anesthetic would not be fatal.

* White said the dosage Murray claims he gave Jackson shouldn't have killed the singer.
* White said he asked the company that made Propofol to conduct a study on the drug to see if it could be used as sedative.

Anestesista e Propofol esperto Dr. Paul White - ultima testimonianza del team della difesa - ha detto solo alla giuria non ha mai concluso che MJ è morto dbevendo il Propofol ... sostenendo che era quasi un suggerimento.

Durante le dichiarazioni di apertura, la difesa ha sostenuto che il Il Re del Pop potrebbe essersi ucciso per ingestione Propofol ... ma da allora è caduto il reclamo dopo che uno studio ha rivelato che l'ingestione del anestetico non sarebbe fatale.
